Five 49ers Land on NFL Network's 'Top 100 Players of 2025' List

Every summer, NFL Network's "Top 100 Players" list shines a spotlight on the best players in the league. The honor carries extra weight, as it's voted on by the players themselves. Current NFL athletes cast their ballots based on the performances and impact of their peers from the previous season, shaping the annual rankings. Once again, the San Francisco 49ers are well represented, with five players earning their place among the NFL's elite.

Here's a look at each 49ers player featured on the "Top 100 Players of 2025" list:

No. 16 - Linebacker Fred Warner

Widely regarded as one of the best linebackers in the NFL, Warner continues to anchor San Francisco's defense with his elite playmaking and leadership. Entering his seventh season, the four-time first-team AP All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler remains the heartbeat of the 49ers defense. In 2024, Warner recorded 131 total tackles, five tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, two interceptions (including a 45-yard pick-six), and earned his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection.

No. 31 - Tight End George Kittle

One of the league's most dynamic playmakers at his position, Kittle remains a centerpiece of San Francisco's offense and is heading into his ninth NFL season. In 2024, "The People's Tight End" recorded 78 receptions for 1,106 yards and eight touchdowns, earning his sixth Pro Bowl nod and a second-team AP All-Pro selection.

No. 45 - Tackle Trent Williams

Widely regarded as one of the league's top offensive linemen, Williams is the anchor of the 49ers offensive line and is heading into his 15th NFL season. The veteran allowed just one sack in his 10 starts during the 2024 campaign. He's an 11-time Pro Bowler and a three-time AP All-Pro selection. This marks Williams' 12th appearance on the NFL Top 100, with his first selection dating back to 2013.

No. 57 - Defensive Lineman Nick Bosa

Bosa continued to anchor the 49ers defensive front in 2024, finishing the regular season with 9.0 sacks, 52 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and 24 quarterback hits over 14 games, all while earning his fifth Pro Bowl selection. Over his six-year career, Bosa has racked up 62.5 sacks, 261 total tackles, 87 tackles for loss, and 165 quarterback hits. He's a former Defensive Rookie of the Year and the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, and he earned First-Team All-Pro honors in that same season.

No. 73 - Running Back Christian McCaffrey

Being named to the "Top 100 Players of 2025" is yet another recognition for the dual-threat back, who continues to be one of the league's most respected offensive weapons. After a historic 2023 campaign in which he led the NFL in scrimmage yards (2,203) and total touchdowns (21) while earning AP Offensive Player of the Year honors, McCaffrey's 2024 year was cut short after just four games. But even in limited action, he tallied 202 rushing yards and 146 receiving yards.
