The San Francisco 49ers return to Levi's® Stadium in Week 15 to host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Fans can look forward to the team's return from a late-season Bye week, the induction of Brent Jones into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. 49ers Hall of Fame, and the fan-favorite corgi race.
Here's what to look for in Sunday's Week 15 game:
Hall of Fame Game - Brent Jones
This Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans will serve as a celebration, marking the induction of 49ers legend Brent Jones as the 33rd member of the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame presented by Devcon Construction. Jones, a San Jose native and Santa Clara University alumnus, spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the 49ers (1987–97), earning four Pro Bowl selections, two All-Pro honors and three Super Bowl championships. Over 143 career games, the tight end totaled 417 receptions for 5,195 yards and 33 touchdowns, ranking third among tight ends in franchise history in each category. During halftime of Sunday's game at Levi's® Stadium, Jones will be officially honored in a special ceremony recognizing his lasting impact on the franchise. The event offers fans a chance to celebrate one of the organization's all-time greats.
Titans Week 15 Outlook
The Tennessee Titans enter Week 15 at 2-11, sitting at the bottom of the AFC standings. Their second win of the season came last week in a 31-29 victory over the Cleveland Browns, snapping a seven-game losing streak. Running back Tony Pollard led the offense with 161 yards and two touchdowns, including a 65-yard breakaway — the team's best ground performance of the season. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has totaled 2,486 passing yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. Ward has been sacked 49 times this season, tied for the most in the NFL, but is coming off his first career game with multiple touchdown passes. Although eliminated from playoff contention, the Titans will look to stack back-to-back wins for the first time since 2022.
49ers Week 15 Outlook
The San Francisco 49ers return from a late Bye week feeling rested and ready to attack this Sunday. Defensively, the team has allowed just 17 points over its last two games and holds the league's third-longest active streak without surrendering points on an opponent's opening drive. Running back Christian McCaffrey continues to be a reliable weapon for the offense, leading the NFL in touches per game (24.8) while ranking third in carries (237) and fifth in receptions (85). Quarterback Brock Purdy has notoriously excelled following Bye weeks, completing 71 percent of his passes for an average of 324.5 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in his last two "post-Bye" outings. The 49ers have won five of their last six games after a Bye and hold a 9-6 all-time record against the Titans — a mark they'll look to improve at Levi's® Stadium on Sunday.
2026 Pro Bowl and WPMOY Voting
The 2026 Pro Bowl Games are approaching, and nine San Francisco 49ers players currently rank among the top 10 in fan voting. Running back Christian McCaffrey and Fullback Kyle Juszczyk both sit at No. 1 in their respective groups. Juszczyk eyes his 10th career Pro Bowl selection. Tackle Trent Williams ranks second among tackles and tight end George Kittle is currently seventh in his group despite being named to six of the past seven Pro Bowls. Other top-10 vote-getters include Luke Gifford (No. 6 special teams), Eddy Piñeiro (No. 7 kicker), Skyy Moore (No. 7 return specialist), Jon Weeks (No. 7 long snapper) and Ji'Ayir Brown (No. 8 free safety). Fans can still cast their votes to help send the 49ers to the Pro Bowl Games. Vote here daily by Monday, December 15.
Linebacker Curtis Robinson has also been named the team's nominee for the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide for the second straight season and will be recognized as the 49ers club winner during pregame on Sunday. Vote for WPMOY here.
Corgi Race Returns
The fan-favorite Corgi Race returns in Week 15 as Rocket and Winston go paw-to-paw in another high-speed showdown. Rocket, an aerodynamic pup who's 80 percent fluff and 20 percent wheels, races in a custom wheelchair built for speed — and reportedly equipped with snack radar. Winston, known for his laser focus, never takes his eyes off the prize. The winner will move one step closer to the K9ers Corgi Cup, set for January 3rd or 4th, 2026, during halftime of the regular season finale against the Seahawks.
