Fred Warner Ranked No. 16 on NFL's 'Top 100 Players of 2025'
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner earned the No. 16 spot on NFL Network's annual "Top 100 Players" list.
Widely regarded as one of the best linebackers in the NFL, Warner continues to anchor San Francisco's defense with his elite playmaking and leadership. Entering his seventh season, the four-time first-team AP All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler remains the heartbeat of the 49ers defense. In 2024, Warner recorded 131 total tackles, five tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, two interceptions (including a 45-yard pick-six), and earned his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl selection.

Position-By-Position Breakdown of the 49ers 2025 Initial 53-Man Roster
Following the conclusion of the preseason slate, the San Francisco 49ers made the necessary moves to arrive at their initial 53-man roster by the NFL's August 26, 1:00 p.m. PT deadline. In addition to the players named to the 53-man roster, the team will add another 17 practice squad members in the coming days. Beginning in 2024, the league has expanded the practice squads of every team to 17 if one player is a qualifying international player.
