Player ratings have been revealed for Madden NFL 2026 ahead of the video game's release on August 14. The San Francisco 49ers are once again well represented among the NFL's elite. Five 49ers earned spots in the top 10 at their respective positions, highlighting the team's continued dominance on both sides of the ball.
Leading the way is George Kittle, who tops all tight ends with a 98 overall rating. "The People's Tight End" is always a fan favorite and now one of the highest-rated players in the game.
Fred Warner continues to set the standard at linebacker, earning a 97 overall rating to lead all players at his position. His three-point edge over the next closest player, Roquan Smith (94), highlights his status as the cornerstone of the 49ers defense.
On the offensive line, Trent Williams continues to be one of the game's most dominant blockers. The veteran left tackle received a 97 overall, setting him at No. 2 among all offensive linemen, trailing only Lane Johnson (99) of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Running back Christian McCaffrey checks in with a 94 overall rating, ranking him No. 4 among running backs behind Saquon Barkley (99), Derrick Henry (98), and Jahmyr Gibbs (95).
Defensive end Nick Bosa earned a 95 overall rating, placing him No. 5 among edge rushers. He trails only Myles Garrett (99), Micah Parsons (98), T.J. Watt (96), and Maxx Crosby (96).
The 49ers also made waves in the rookie rankings, with first-round draft pick Mykel Williams debuting with a 78 overall rating, making him one of the top 10 highest-rated rookies in Madden NFL 26.
