Since arriving in San Francisco in 2025, the veteran kicker has delivered one of the most efficient seasons by a kicker in franchise history. Here's a look back at some of the most notable stats and milestones from his career and his first season in The Bay.
49ers Sign Kicker Eddy Piñeiro to a Four-Year Extension
In 2025, Piñeiro signed with the 49ers as a free agent and went on to appear in 14 games. Piñeiro connected on each of his first 25 field goal attempts with the team, the most consecutive field goals made by a kicker to begin their first season with the 49ers.
49ers Tender Defensive Lineman Sam Okuayinonu
Okuayinonu (6-1, 269) appeared in 15 games (12 starts) and registered a career-high 39 tackles, 3.0 sacks and one forced fumble. He also started in both postseason contests he appeared in and tallied six tackles.
