Jauan Jennings, Trent Williams Active vs. Saints; Inactives for Week 2 #SFvsNO

The San Francisco 49ers are set to take the field against the New Orleans Saints, and the team has finalized its inactive list 90 minutes ahead of kickoff. With gameday rosters capped at 48 active players, several 49ers will be sidelined for the NFC showdown at the Caesars Superdome.

Headlining the inactives list is quarterback Brock Purdy, who was ruled out on Friday while managing toe and shoulder issues. With Purdy unavailable, Mac Jones will step in as the starting quarterback. Both head coach Kyle Shanahan and offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak expressed confidence in Jones throughout the week, stating that he's gotten a strong grasp of the offense since arriving in San Francisco.

Wide receiver Jauan Jennings (shoulder) and left tackle Trent Williams (knee) were both questionable on Friday's injury report but are expected to suit up for today's contest, a positive sign for the 49ers offense.

Here are the 49ers inactives for Week 2 against the Saints:
