The San Francisco 49ers have finalized their inactive list ahead of the NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. With rosters limited to 48 active players on gameday, several players will be sidelined as the team takes on the second round of their postseason run.
Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall and linebackers Dee Winters and Luke Gifford were listed as questionable ahead of the contest. All three names were not on the team's inactive report and are expected to play against the Seahawks on Saturday. Pearsall and Winters practiced in a limited capacity throughout the week. Gifford returned to limited participation on Thursday after missing the first walkthrough and practice of the week. Along the offensive line, T Trent Williams (hamstring) progressed to full participation on Wednesday and Thursday and does not carry a game designation.
Safety Ji'Ayir Brown will not suit up in Seattle after suffering his hamstring injury during the second quarter of San Francisco's Wild Card win over the Eagles in Philadelphia.
One of the biggest developments of San Francisco's Divisional week preparation was the return of LB Fred Warner to the practice field. The team opened Warner's 21-day practice window earlier this week after the All-Pro linebacker suffered a dislocated and broken ankle in the 49ers Week 6 loss to Tampa Bay, an injury initially expected to sideline him for the remainder of the season. Warner was a limited participant in practice and head coach Kyle Shanahan said he "looked good" in what he was able to do. However, Shanahan confirmed on Thursday that Warner will not be activated for Saturday's game and is officially listed as OUT.
Here are the 49ers inactives for the Divisional Round against the Seahawks:
