Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall made a strong return to action after rehabbing knee and ankle injuries, leading the team with 85 receiving yards. Pearsall consistently stretched the field and came up with several key catches, including his longest catch of the night, a 30-yard reception in the first quarter.

Tonges Strikes First

In a game filled with scoring, tight end Jake Tonges was the first Niner to find the end zone. Tonges capped off the opening-quarter response with a one-yard touchdown reception, setting the tone for a night where San Francisco's offense repeatedly answered Chicago's scoring drives.

In a game defined by offense, San Francisco's defense rose to the occasion on the Bears final drive. After quarterback Caleb Williams marched deep into 49ers territory in the final two minutes, the defense tightened inside the red zone, forcing a series of incompletions and standing firm at the goal line. Linebacker Tatum Bethune was active throughout the drive and finished with 11 combined tackles, including a stop that helped slow Chicago's momentum late in the game.
