The San Francisco 49ers have finalized their inactive list ahead of the Week 15 matchup against the Tennessee Titans at Levi'sÂź Stadium. With gameday rosters limited to 48 active players, several players will be sidelined for Sunday's cross-conference contest.
Over the weekend leading up to gameday, DL Jordan Elliott and RB Christian McCaffrey were added to the team's injury report with knee and back injuries, respectively. Elliott was ruled out for Sunday's contest, while McCaffrey was listed as questionable on Saturday afternoon. However, McCaffrey does not appear on the 49ers gameday inactives list as the team suits up to face the Titans.
The extra rest was especially valuable for several key players dealing with injuries. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who suffered a rib fracture following the Week 13 win over Cleveland, was limited in Wednesday and Thursday practices but returned as a full participant on Friday. Kicker Eddy Piñeiro, the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October, also participated fully in all three practices for the first time since Week 11 as he works toward a return from a hamstring injury.
Here are the 49ers inactives for Week 15 against the Titans:
- DL Sam Okuayinonu
- LB Tatum Bethune
- DL Jordan Elliott
- WR Jordan Watkins
- RB Jordan James
- LB Nick Martin
- DL Sebastian Valdez
