5 Things to Know: 49ers Week 10 Contest vs. Los Angeles Rams

The San Francisco 49ers return home for Week 10 as they host the Los Angeles Rams at Levi's® Stadium. Fans can look forward to a big game, special Salute to Service tributes, and all the action on the field as the 49ers aim to keep their NFC West winning streak alive.

Here's what to look for in Sunday's Week 10 game:

Salute to Service Game

In Week 10, the San Francisco 49ers will honor the NFL's Salute to Service initiative during their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams at Levi's® Stadium. The league-wide campaign recognizes and supports U.S. service members, veterans, and their families by promoting programs that enhance the independence of wounded warriors, improve physical and mental health, and strengthen prosperity within the military community. Fans can expect special in-game tributes, including a presentation of the colors by the San Francisco Firefighters Veterans Association, the National Anthem performed by Kathryn Dobyns of the U.S. Navy Band's Sea Chanters Chorus, and a halftime performance by Wounded Warrior rock band The Resilient. This week's Frontline Hero of the Game, Sergeant Sam Avolicino, a World War II veteran who turns 105 on November 14, will also be recognized for his service and lifelong dedication to country.

Rams Week 10 Outlook

The Rams enter Week 10 at 6-2, part of a tight NFC West race with the Seattle Seahawks (6-2) and 49ers (6-3). It's the only division featuring three teams with six or more wins, making this matchup key for San Francisco's positioning. The Rams have won three straight by double digits behind quarterback Matthew Stafford, who leads the NFL in passing touchdowns (21) and ranks among the league's top passers in yards per game. Receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams headline a high-powered offense, while the Rams defense sits top three in sacks (27.0) and near the top in third-down and red-zone efficiency. The 49ers, who edged Los Angeles 26-23 in overtime in Week 5, will look to complete the season sweep against the Rams.

49ers Week 10 Outlook

The 49ers return to Levi's® Stadium with momentum after an impressive road win over the New York Giants, improving to 6-3 on the season. San Francisco has won six of seven matchups against NFC opponents and remains unbeaten in divisional play. Quarterback Mac Jones has provided steady leadership in recent weeks, while running back Christian McCaffrey continues to pace the league in scrimmage yards and total touchdowns. Even with a number of defensive injuries, the 49ers have stayed resilient, relying on strong team play and efficient offense to stay within striking distance of the division lead. Sunday's game offers a chance to extend their winning streak and strengthen their standing in the NFC.

Classic Reds

For the first time this season, the 49ers will wear their classic red jerseys with gold helmets and gold pants at Levi's® Stadium. The team has worn red on the road earlier this year against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but Sunday marks the home debut of their traditional look.

Corgi Race Returns

The Corgi Race returns in Week 10, with Ziggy and Abbott going head-to-head. So far this season, Piccadilly won in Week 3, Frida took the Week 4 race, and Eeva claimed victory in Week 7. Ziggy, known for her impressive 50 tail wiggler-per-minute rate, will face Abbott, a corgi who graduated first in his class from Boot-Y Camp. The winner will move one step closer to the K9ers Corgi Cup, set for January 3rd or 4th, 2026, during halftime of the regular season finale against the Seahawks.
