McCaffrey Finishes Season With Most Touches in 49ers History; Stats and Facts from #SEAvsSF

  • With six receptions, McCaffrey finished the season with 102 receptions, making him the first RB with at least 100 receptions in three career seasons (107 in 2018 and 116 in 2019). He now owns three of the top five most receptions in a single season by a RB in NFL history.
  • McCaffrey also became the first 49ers player to record 100 or more receptions in a season since Hall of Famer WR Terrell Owens recorded 100 receptions in the 2002 season.

  • DL Sam Okuayinonu registered four tackles and 1.0 sack of Darnold, marking his third sack of the season and giving him 6.5 sacks in his career.

Special Teams Highlights

  • K Eddy Piñeiro converted his lone field-goal attempt, connecting from 48 yards.
  • Piñeiro finished the season converting 28 of 29 field-goal attempts (96.6 percent). His 96.6 field-goal percentage is the second-highest single-season mark in franchise history.
