49ers Select TE Cameron Latu with the No. 101 Pick in the 2023 NFL Draft

With San Francisco's third pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the 49ers selected tight end Cameron Latu from the University of Alabama.

During the 2022 season, Latu totaled 30 receptions for 377 yards and four touchdowns. That season, he was named to the watch list for the Mackey Award, presented each season to the top tight end in college football. The tight end was also selected to the watch list for the Polynesian Player of the Year.

Latu averaged 14.1 yards per reception in his college career, scoring eight touchdowns in 2021 and four in 2022.
