The 49ers STEAM Champions Program recognizes charitable partners committed to inspiring students and teachers, and building the next generation of STEAM professionals and leaders in our community.

At each 49ers home game, a Bay Area educator will receive two complimentary tickets and recognition during the game for their contributions in education.

At each 49ers home game, we will highlight two Bay Area students who have a passion for STEAM education or want to pursue a career in a STEAM-related field.

49ers EDU's field trip program, Home & Away, includes an asynchronous video, stadium visit and virtual lesson. This program is designed to give students a more in-depth experience into how STEAM is integrated all throughout the game of football.

High school students have the opportunity to learn how Levi's® Stadium uses data science to study and improve the gameday experience for fans.

Each season, 49ers EDU welcomes kids and families to participate in a stadium-wide scavenger hunt  for select games. Beginning at the 49ers Museum presented by Foxconn, the activity bridges education and NFL football through five science, technology, education, art, and math (STEAM) related questions. The first 25 youth  to successfully complete the scavenger hunt receive a prize available for pickup at Xfinity Plaza.

Each year, over 170 high school students come to Levi's® Stadium to learn about STEAM career paths from leading companies in the Bay Area.

The San Francisco 49ers Foundation and its award-winning STEAM Education Program created the Dr. Harry Edwards "Follow Your Bliss" Award for full-time educators across the San Francisco Bay Area who lead the future generation with purpose, passion, dedication and love.

Since launching in 2014, 49ers EDU has prioritized literacy by developing a digital playbook and reading-focused lessons aligned with California's ELA standards. This work addresses a growing statewide crisis. To help close these gaps, 49ers EDU has expanded its literacy initiatives by bringing book fairs to schools, celebrating Read Across America Week, and donating books to classrooms and libraries. These efforts increase student access to high-quality reading materials and help build a stronger culture of literacy throughout the community.

49ers Foundation two direct-service programs teamed up to create a unique mini camp to encourage and inspire girls to participate in both STEAM and Football . By creating an experience tailored towards middle school girls this four-day mini camp will encourage girls to feel confident and equipped to participate in both STEAM and Flag Football. With the sanctioning of Girl's Flag Football as a varsity sport and it becoming an olympic sport, 49ers EDU and PREP provides early exposure to the sport in hopes to build a pipeline to playing at their high school.
