Christian McCaffrey Takes on Disneyland Dad Duties | Off the Field

Not all dads do Disneyland the same, and RB Christian McCaffrey is making that clear.

The 49ers running back traded touchdowns for stroller duty this offseason, spending a day at Disneyland Park alongside his family, his wife, and their daughter, Colette.

In a video posted to social media, McCaffrey joked, "A lot of people say Disney isn't for all dads… but I'm not all dads."

From navigating crowds to keeping up with a full day at the park, the All-Pro showed off a different kind of versatility... bobbing and weaving through pedestrians with a stroller instead of defenders.

Internet Reacts

The clip quickly caught traction online with fans, teams, and brands all joining in.

The San Francisco 49ers chimed in with, "He's not a regular dad, he's a cool dad 😎" while Stanford Football, McCaffrey's alma mater, added, "Dad of the year candidate 🍼"

Even Disney Parks joined the fun commenting, "Gotta keep that stroller in bounds 😂."

A New Chapter Off the Field

In July 2025, McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo welcomed their daughter, Colette, stepping into a new chapter off the field.

Since becoming a father, the 49ers running back has shared glimpses of that experience which is a role that looks a little different than Sundays at Levi's® Stadium.

"Watching your daughter grow has been the coolest thing in my life," McCaffrey said in a recent interview with E! News. "Watching her develop a personality, start to notice the world, smile, move... It's been awesome."

Moments like his Disneyland outing reflect that shift, offering a new view of the 2025 NFL Comeback player of the Year not just as one of the league's most dynamic players, but as a hands-on father enjoying the simple day to days.

Dad Mode 🤝 Game Mode

Whether it's breaking tackles on Sundays or handling stroller duty at Disneyland, McCaffrey's mindset stays the same: all in.

"My family is one of the reasons I play," McCaffrey said in a recent interview with People Magazine. "Whenever you get to see them right before you go out to battle, it's a quick reminder of why you're doing it."

When it comes to being a dad, he's approaching it the same way he approaches football: with energy, commitment, and a little bit of CMC personality.
