Christian McCaffrey Active for Season Opener; Inactives for #SFvsSEA

We've made it to the regular season! In 90 minutes, the San Francisco 49ers will kickoff their 2025 campaign. The team has finalized their inactive list ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks. With rosters limited to 48 active players on gameday, several players will be sidelined for the NFC West matchup at Lumen Field.

Among those inactive are rookies running back Jordan James and wide receiver Jordan Watkins, who were both listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report. The remainder of the list is made up of healthy scratches as the 49ers set their game day roster.

A positive sign for San Francisco: running back Christian McCaffrey, who was questionable with a calf injury, is not among the inactives and is expected to be available for Sunday's matchup.
