The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed LB Dre Greenlaw to a one-year deal.
Greenlaw (6-0, 230) was originally drafted by San Francisco in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. Throughout his seven-year career with the 49ers (2019-24) and Denver Broncos (2025), he has appeared in 72 games (63 starts) and registered 490 tackles, 16 passes defensed, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He has also appeared in 14 postseason contests (12 starts) and recorded 82 tackles, three passes defensed, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. In 2025, Greenlaw appeared in eight games (seven starts) with Denver where he tallied 43 tackles, two passes defensed, 1.0 sack, one interception and one forced fumble. He also appeared in two postseason contests and recorded 10 tackles.
A 28-year-old native of Fayetteville, AR, Greenlaw attended the University of Arkansas where he appeared in 42 games (39 starts) in his four-year career (2015-18) with the Razorbacks, recording 299 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
