Purdy, Winters Questionable vs. Giants; Injury Report Ahead of #SFvsNYG

The San Francisco 49ers are on to Week 9 in the East Coast to face the New York Giants. The team released the final injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup at MetLife Stadium.

Quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) is officially listed as questionable after being limited in practices this week. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted on Friday that the team is continuing to monitor Purdy's progress before making a final decision on his availability for Sunday, and the plan is for QB Mac Jones to start for San Francisco against the Giants. The offensive line is dealing with a few injuries heading into the weekend. Jake Brendel (hamstring) has been ruled out, while Ben Bartch (ankle) and Spencer Burford (knee) are both questionable. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) has been ruled out and will miss his fifth consecutive game.

On the defensive front, the 49ers will be without Yetur Gross-Matos (knee, hamstring) and Bryce Huff (hamstring), both ruled out for Week 9. Defensive linemen Jordan Elliott (ankle), Sam Okuayinonu (ankle), and linebacker Dee Winters (knee) are all questionable heading into Sunday's matchup as the team continues to evaluate their recoveries.

Below is the complete Week 9 Game Status Report from Friday:

The 49ers will continue to monitor players listed on the report. Final decisions on gameday availability will be announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff in East Rutherford.
