The San Francisco 49ers are looking to bounce back after a close loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13. The team will head to Louisiana to take on the NFC South Champion New Orleans Saints. The game takes place on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 10:00 a.m. PT at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Week 14 matchup.

Sunday will mark the 49ers and Saints 77th matchup. San Francisco currently leads the series 48-26-2.

  • Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is aiming for his fourth game in a row with a 110-plus quarterback rating.
  • Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has five-plus catches in four of his last five games against NFC South competition.
  • Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner has had a sack in his last three road games.
  • Linebacker Fred Warner has posted 10-plus tackles in the 49ers last five games. With eight more tackles, Warner will post back-to-back 100-tackle seasons.

  • Quarterback Drew Brees has thrown a touchdown pass and posted a 100-plus quarterback rating in 10 of his past 11 starts.
  • Running back Alvin Kamara has 525 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns in four career games against the NFC West.
  • Defensive end Cameron Jordan is coming off a career-performance in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons, where he posted four sacks.
  • Safety Marcus Williams has 12 passes defensed on the season, the most among safeties.
