49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank is excited to announce the continuation of its summer youth football camp series. For years, the 49ers have hosted thousands of kids at the SAP Performance Facility to coach them on the fundamentals of football. This year, the team will offer two unique camps that are unlike anything done by the club in the past.
For the first time, and in a concentrated effort to help current football players develop their abilities, 49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank will offer Skills Camp – designed as a training experience aimed at giving athletes the opportunity to develop fundamentals and knowledge to better prepare for success in football. Campers will participate in on-field, position-specific drills which will be taught by 49ers Alumni. The Skills Camp is open to athletes who are rising 8th through 12th graders, and will take place at Santa Clara High School on Saturday, May 12th. Making another triumphant return this summer is the 3-Day Camp! This summer tradition for young members of the Faithful is designed to teach the fundamentals of football. The 3-Day Camp is a co-ed, non-contact football camp for girls and boys ages 7-12 designed to improve a child's beginning, intermediate or advanced skill level. Fundamentals of all positions on offense and defense are taught in addition to life skills such as respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork and the importance of education. Participants are grouped based on age and skill level. The team is thrilled to announce that the camp this summer will take place for the first time, on the field at Levi's® Stadium from July 11-13.
