The San Francisco 49ers announced they have acquired DL Bryce Huff from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a mid-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Huff must pass a physical for the trade to be executed.
Huff (6-3, 255) originally entered the NFL after signing as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets on May 6, 2020. Throughout his five-year career with the Jets (2020-23) and Philadelphia Eagles (2024) he has appeared in 66 games (13 starts) and registered 77 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 20.0 sacks, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He has also appeared in two postseason contests.
In 2024 with Philadelphia, Huff appeared in 12 games (six starts) and registered 13 tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
A 27-year-old native of Mobile, AL, Huff attended the University of Memphis for four years (2016-19) where he appeared in 52 games (25 starts) and registered 136 tackles, 39.5 tackles for loss, 18.0 sacks, four forced fumbles, three passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.
