On this day, San Francisco 49ers running back Delvin Williams put on a stunning display as he recorded 279 yards of offense from scrimmage against Washington.

Williams scored on runs of 80 and 22 yards while notching 180 yards on the ground. He also caught four passes, including an 85-yard scoring toss from quarterback Jim Plunkett. His 279 yards from scrimmage is the fourth-best total in 49ers history.
