The Unlocking Potential programme recently hosted its second special coaching event at Leeds Beckett University in celebration of International Women's Day.

More than 100 girls from Rothwell St Mary's Primary, Hunslet Moor Primary, and Sharp Lane Primary took part in the event, reinforcing the programme's commitment to expanding sporting opportunities for young girls across the city.

The session featured a variety of activities, including circuits and mini-tournaments, designed to encourage participation and skill development. Alongside the coaching, attendees received commemorative t-shirts to celebrate the event.

The programme reached its year one target of 1,000 beneficiaries, with it currently on track to reach its year two target of 2,000 beneficiaries.
