This Day in The Bay: Nedney Scores Every Point in 49ers Victory Over Buccaneers

On this day, 49ers kicker Joe Nedney supplied all of San Francisco's points in a 15-10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Nedney connected on five field goal attempts, including four over 40 yards. After the 2005 season, the 49ers coaches voted Nedney co-recipient (along with linebacker Derek Smith) of the Bill Walsh Award as the club's MVP. Nedney attended nearby Santa Teresa High School and San Jose State University.
