- QB Mac Jones completed 27 of his 41 passing attempts for 284 yards and 1 touchdown with a passer rating 83.8. His passing touchdown marked his fourth of the season and the 58th of his career.
- With 279 passing yards last week at New Orleans (9/14/25) and 284 passing yards on the day, it marks the third time in Jones' career that he has thrown for 250-or-more yards in back-to-back games and the first time he has done so since the 2022 season when he was a member of the New England Patriots.
- RB Christian McCaffrey registered 17 carries for 52 yards on the ground to go along with 10 receptions for 88 yards through the air.
- McCaffrey's 88 receiving yards mark the most he has registered as a member of the 49ers and the most in a single game since he tallied 89 receiving yards in Week 6 of the 2022 season as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
- With 140 yards from scrimmage, McCaffrey registered his 60th career game with 100-or-more yards from scrimmage and his 23rd such game as a member of the 49ers.
- With 69 rushing yards and 73 receiving yards Week 1 at Seattle (9/7/25), 55 rushing yards and 52 receiving yards Week 2 at New Orleans (9/14/25), and 52 rushing yards and 88 receiving yards on the day, McCaffrey became the first 49ers player since at least 1950 to register 50-or-more rushing yards and 50-or-more receiving yards in each of the first 3 weeks of the season. He also became the first NFL player to accomplish the feat since Hall of Famer RB Marshall Faulk in 2000.
- McCaffrey's 60 games with 100-or-more yards from scrimmage are tied for the most among active NFL running backs.
- With 142 yards from scrimmage Week 1 at Seattle (9/7/25), 107 yards from scrimmage Week 2 at New Orleans (9/14/25) and 140 yards from scrimmage on the day, McCaffrey became the first 49ers player to register 100-or-more yards from scrimmage in each of the first 3 weeks of the season since he accomplished the feat in 2023.
- With 52 rushing yards and 88 receiving yards, McCaffrey registered his 33rd career game with 50-or-more rushing yards and 50-or-more receiving yards, which is the second-most such games in NFL history.
- Of those 33 games, McCaffrey has recorded nine as a member of the 49ers. His nine games with 50-or-more rushing yards and 50-or-more receiving yards are the third-most in franchise history.
- FB Kyle Juszczyk recorded a one-yard touchdown reception on the day, marking his first of the season and the 19th of his career.
- WR Ricky Pearsall notched eight receptions for a team-high 117 yards, marking his second game of the season with 100-or-more receiving yards and the third such game of his career.
Defensive Highlights
- DL Bryce Huff registered five tackles, one pass defensed and 1.0 sack of Cardinals QB Kyler Murray. His pass defended marked his first of the season and the fourth of his career, while his sack of Murray marked his second of the season and gives him 22.0 in his career.
- With 1.0 sack last week at New Orleans and 1.0 sack on the day, it marked the sixth time in Huff's career that he has registered 1.0-or-more sack in back-to-back games and the first time he has done so since the 2023 season as a member of the New York Jets.
- LB Fred Warner registered a team-high 11 tackles and two passes defended on the day.
- Warner's two passes defended give him three on the season and 56 in his career, extending his record for most passes defended by a LB in franchise history.
- DL Nick Bosa registered two tackles and one forced fumble on the day. With one forced fumble, Bosa recorded his second forced fumble of the season and the 13th of his career, which is tied for the third-most by a 49ers player since forced fumble became an official statistic in 1994.
Special Teams Highlights
- K Eddy Piñeiro converted on each of his three field goal attempts (38, 51, 35) and his lone point-after-touchdown on the day.
- Piñeiro's 35-yard field goal made as time expired marked the first time that a 49ers kicker converted on a game-winning field goal attempt since former K Jake Moody connected on a 44-yard field goal attempt as time expired at Tampa Bay (11/10/24).
- The 49ers defeated the Cardinals 16-15 after a 35-yard field goal attempt by Piñeiro as time expired. It marked the first time that the 49ers won a game after trailing with less than 10 seconds left in regulation since former K Robbie Gould converted on a 30-yard field goal attempt as time expired at New Orleans (12/8/19).
