The San Francisco 49ers announced they have signed OL Isaac Alarcon and DL Robert Beal Jr. to the team's practice squad. In order to make room on the practice squad, the team released OL Bruce Hector.
Alarcon (6-7, 320) originally entered the NFL after signing with the Dallas Cowboys as part of the National Football League's International Player Pathway Program on April 28, 2020. Alarcon spent his four-year NFL career (2020-24) on the Cowboys practice squad as part of the program. He later signed with the 49ers on January 23, 2024 and was waived by the team on October 13, 2025.
A 27-year-old native of Monterrey, Mexico, Alarcon attended Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
Beal Jr. (6-4, 250) was originally drafted by the 49ers in the fifth round (173rd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. Over the past three years (2023-25) with the 49ers, he has appeared in 19 games and registered 15 tackles and 1.0 sack. Beal Jr. was waived by the team on October 11, 2025.
A 26-year-old native of Duluth, GA, Beal Jr. attended the University of Georgia (2017-22) where he appeared in 54 games (10 starts) and registered 72 tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Hector (6-2, 296) originally signed to the team's practice squad on October 8, 2025.
