49ers Announce Roster Moves

The 49ers have promoted WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the active roster and signed WR Russell Gage Jr. to the team's practice squad.

The 49ers signed DL Evan Anderson and OL Kilian Zierer to the team's practice squad. In order to make room on the practice squad, the team released DL William Bradley-King.

The 49ers re-signed WR Russell Gage Jr. to a one-year deal, released S Richie Grant, and added QB Adrian Martinez, RB Sincere McCormick and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the practice squad.

The 49ers have claimed DL Jordan Jefferson off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars, waived DL Evan Anderson. In addition, the team has signed 13 players to the practice squad.

The 49ers have acquired RB Brian Robinson Jr. from the Washington Commanders in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2026. In order to make room on the roster, the team has waived WR Malik Knowles.

The 49ers acquired WR Skyy Moore and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Chiefs in exchange for a 2027 sixth-rounder, signed QB Tanner Mordecai to a one-year deal, placed CB Tre Brown on Injured Reserve, and released QB Nate Sudfeld.
