The 49ers and USO Northern California welcomed 60 active duty and veteran military families to West Wind Capitol Drive-In for a free, holiday movie screening and a special welcome message from Air National Guardsman Ben Garland. The 49ers are proud to support our veterans each and every day, and on Veterans Day, we honor the legacy of the many who have served. Through the NFL-Bob Woodruff Foundation Salute To Service partnership, the 49ers collaborated with the NFL-BWF grantee, The Mission Continues, to execute an NFL Huddle for 100 Salute to Service volunteerism project on Alemany Farm in San Francisco. The project included various improvements like gardening, weeding, planting native species and building an information kiosk.
