49ers Notes

  • Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo had a career day against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14, throwing for 349 yards and four touchdowns. His performance earned him NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
  • Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders had seven catches for 157 yards and one receiving touchdown. He also threw a 35-yard touchdown in Week 14. Sanders was the first player in 49ers history to have a receiving and passing touchdown in the same game.
  • Defensive lineman Nick Bosa is tied for second in the NFL with 15 tackles for loss. He has posted a tackle for loss in four of the team's past five games.
  • Defensive lineman Arik Armstead has recorded three sacks in his past three games against NFC South competition.

Falcons Notes

  • Quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown for 300-plus yards and 2-plus touchdowns in his last two starts.
  • Wide receiver Julio Jones is one of two wideouts (Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans) with 1,000 yards receiving in each of the past six seasons.
  • Linebacker De'Vondre Campbell has a career-high 106 tackles in 2019.
  • S Damontae Kazee had two interceptions and a forced fumble in Week 14 against the Carolina Panthers.
