Congrats are in order for Jimmy Garoppolo, who is coming off one of his best performances of the season following the 48-46 victory over the New Orleans Saints. National pundits agree, as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback was named the Week 14 NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Garoppolo completed 26-of-35 passes for 349 yards and four touchdowns for a 131.7 passer rating against the league's fifth-best passing defense. His four touchdowns tied previously set career highs against the Arizona Cardinals in Weeks 9 and 11 of this season. Sunday also marked the quarterback's third 300-yard game on the year and the fifth of his career.

According to Pro Football Focus, the quarterback had a perfect passer rating on throws of 10-plus yards downfield on Sunday. He was also successful when using play action, completing 10-of-13 throws for 186 yards and two touchdowns for a passer rating of 157.9.

"He's unbelievable. No matter what happens," head coach Kyle Shanahan said of his quarterback. "He's had a lot of good games this year. He has made some times where he's made some mistakes. But he's the same guy every day. Just to be able to deal with that crowd noise and to deal with adversity that went in and out throughout the game, to be able to deal with me, he's the same and a lot of fun to coach."

Garoppolo was also nominated for the FedEx Air Player of the Week award following Sunday's performance. He's up against Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill and Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers for the week's honor. Voting for Garoppolo is open until Thursday at 12:00 p.m. PT at NFL.com/FedEx. Fans can also vote on Twitter using the NFL published polls.
