Deebo Samuel to Face DeSean Jackson in EA Madden Charity Tournament
The Checkdown and EA are hosting an EA Madden NFL charity tournament featuring eight NFL superstars to benefit COVID-19 relief efforts. San Francisco's wide receiver Deebo Samuel will be taking on fellow wideout DeSean Jackson in the first round, April 1. Fellow participants in the tournament include Denzel Ward, Jarvis Landry, Tyrann Mathieu, Tyreek Hill, Derwin James and Keenan Allen. The NFL Foundation and EA will make a $5,000 donation on behalf of each participant and an additional $20,000 on behalf of the winner to charities supporting COVID-19 relief efforts. Richard Sherman's Best Mic'd Up Moments from 2019
Richard Sherman celebrated his 32nd birthday yesterday prompting 49ers.com to look back at the veteran cornerback's memorable moments from the 2019 season. During his Pro Bowl season in Year 9, Sherman registered three interceptions (one for a touchdown), 61 total tackles and allowed just 27 receptions on the season.
