The San Francisco 49ers will be without their star tight end for the second straight week. George Kittle is still rehabbing a knee and ankle injury suffered in the Week 9 divisional match against the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers will be relying on Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert on Sunday, as Matt Breida has also been ruled out. Breida missed the week's practices after aggravating his ankle against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night. Breida is expected to be "day-to-day" and will be reassessed on Wednesday.
Good news for San Francisco's offense, Emmanuel Sanders is active in Week 11. Sanders suffered a rib injury in the second quarter on Monday night and was listed as questionable heading into Sunday. On the Halloween night matchup, Sanders caught seven passes for 112 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers first meeting with the Cardinals in Week 9. Since joining the team in Week 8, Sanders has amassed 161 yards on 13 receptions and two scores.
Ahkello Witherspoon will also make his return after missing the past six weeks after suffering a foot sprain in Week 3. Witherspoon is expected to regain his starting role, as second-year cornerback Emmanuel Moseley has filled in admirably in his absence.
