Michael Zyskowski is entering his first season with the 49ers as the team's National Football Scouting representative.
Prior to joining San Francisco, Zyskowski worked at the University of Connecticut as the assistant general manager and director of on-campus recruiting (2021) and as the director of player personnel (2017-20).
Zyskowski joined the Huskies from Old Dominion University (2008-16) where he coached special teams, the offensive line and running backs and also served as recruiting coordinator during his tenure. He helped build the school's program from the ground up, as he arrived in Norfolk, VA a year before the Monarchs inaugural season.
Zyskowski came to Old Dominion from the University of Maine, where he coached running backs (2004-07) and later served as the Black Bears co-special teams coordinator (2007).
Zyskowski, a native of Grand Rapids, MI, played fullback collegiately at Maine, where he was named a captain as a senior and earned his bachelor's degree in landscape horticulture.
Zyskowski has a daughter Marley, and two sons Brandon and Luke.
