Jay Brunetti enters his 43rd season in the NFL and third season with the 49ers as the team’s equipment manager. He is responsible for the many details that go into filling an NFL team’s daily needs. These needs include outfitting players and coaches in safe and advanced equipment, as well as ordering and maintaining all of the team’s equipment and sideline apparel. Brunetti and his staff also transport team equipment to and from all games, as well as assist coaches with daily practice needs.
Prior to joining the 49ers, Brunetti served as director of equipment services with the Houston Texans from 2001-14. With Houston, Brunetti’s responsibilities included purchasing, upkeep and repair of all player and coach equipment while overseeing the transportation of equipment to away games.
