NaVorro Bowman Hosts 500 At-risk Youth at His 4th Annual Football Clinic

NaVorro Bowman returned home last week to the Washington D.C. area for his fourth annual youth football clinic. More than 500 at-risk youth from the area attended the camp for a full day of football instruction from the San Francisco 49ers linebacker.

"I always look forward to coming back to the area and having the kids participate in my camp," Bowman said via *USA Today*. "My camp doesn't just focus on sports but life skills as well. Some of these kids may become professional athletes and others won't, but it's core values we can teach them that could last them a lifetime in any profession."

Bowman, through his "4th-and-Goal Foundation," hopes to empower 10,000 children collectively in D.C. and San Francisco by 2017.

Here are some of the highlights from the event via Bowman's official social media accounts.
