Adam Snyder has played all five offensive line positions in NFL games and he has played all five spots during a recent 49ers training camp practice. At one point of Friday's practice, Snyder moved down the line and played every position on the line.
That's hard to do.
Snyder's position versatility has certainly been impressive at camp. The nine-year veteran even joined the first-team offense at center at Saturday's camp session.
"He can truly play all five positions," two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Staley said of his close friend. "It's great to have a guy who can do that, it's great for depth. We're happy to have him back."

Snyder signed a five-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals last offseason but was released shortly after the 2013 NFL Draft.
The 49ers signed Snyder to a two-year contact in early May and feel good about having a quality veteran who can back up five positions.
"It's a perfect fit for me," Snyder told Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com. "I've started enough to be comfortable being a backup and mentor-type guy to some young guys. I'm excited as heck to be here. This is the best scenario for me."
Staley joked that Snyder has "come back to the good side."
"I know he's happy to be back here," the left tackle continued. "He missed all the guys here, missed what we got done last year, talked about how he would have loved to been a part of it.
"It worked out where we had a situation where we were able to bring him back and he brings a lot of versatility to the offensive line."
