Marquise Goodwin Has a '50/50' Chance to Play in Week 5

Kyle Shanahan announced on Friday that Marquise Goodwin's (hamstring/thigh) status against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday will be a game-time decision. If he can't go, the 49ers have the option to activate Victor Bolden Jr. to the roster. Bolden served a four game suspension for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances. He has a roster exemption that lasts until Monday.

Jimmie Ward also popped up on the injury report after tweaking his hamstring on Thursday. Shanahan said the team will see how he feels on Sunday.

Dante Pettis (knee) is the only member of the 49ers who has officially been ruled out for Sunday.

It looks as if the 49ers have received some good news on the offensive line. Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey and Weston Richburg all appear good to go on Sunday barring any setbacks. All three suffered knee injuries against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

Here's a rundown of the 49ers injury report heading in to Week 5.

Questionable:

  • Matt Breida (shoulder)
  • Mike McGlinchey (knee)
  • Weston Richburg (knee)
  • Joe Staley (knee)
  • Marquise Goodwin (thigh/hamstring)
  • Jimmie Ward (hamstring)
  • Richard Sherman (knee)

Out:

  • Dante Pettis (knee)
