Kyle Shanahan Provides Comprehensive Post-Week 4 Injury Report

The San Francisco 49ers continue to add names to the injury report. Several notable players went down during Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4. Here's a comprehensive injury update on all of them, courtesy of Kyle Shanahan.

Joe Staley (knee) - Questionable this week.

Mike McGlinchey (knee) - Questionable this week.

Weston Richburg (knee) - Questionable this week.

(note: It's going to be an interesting week of practice with those three likely not participating until Friday at the earliest. That's part of the reason why the team hasn't been able to sign a third quarterback yet. Every roster spot, practice squad included, is needed to get through practices.)

Matt Breida (shoulder) - His shoulder was bothering him during the game, but he came back in. "He should be alright," Shanahan said during his presser on Monday. Breida originally injured his shoulder during the preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Pierre Garçon (ankle) - This one doesn't appear serious as Shanahan expects him to "be OK."

Marquise Goodwin (thigh/hamstring) - Questionable this week.

Dante Pettis (knee) - He'll be out this week and then week-to-week moving forward.

Solomon Thomas (shoulder) - Went down with a shoulder injury but is expected to be OK this week.

Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder) - Expected to be back in Week 5 vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Tartt has missed the last two games with a shoulder stinger. Antone Exum has started in his place.

Richard Sherman (calf) - Also expected to be out this week as was originally projected following his injury.
