Johnson and Lewis Practice, Still a Question

Starting wide receiver Bryant Johnson got his first action of the week in Friday's early afternoon session.

Johnson missed the last two days of practice as he nursed a sore hamstring.

"It's undecided," said head coach Mike Nolan as to Johnson's playing time for Sunday. "He practiced today and did a good job. Tomorrow will be the biggest tell. If he wakes up sore, then maybe not."

Johnson and safety Keith Lewis (knee), who also returned on a limited basis after missing the last two days, are both listed as questionable.

The questionable list also includes safeties Dashon Goldson and Michael Lewis, and cornerback Donald Strickland.

Team captains were also announced after the practice. The special teams captain will be Delanie Walker. The offensive captain will be Frank Gore. The defensive captain will be Mark Roman.

The practice came to a festive conclusion with Isaac Sopoaga performing his Haka dance.

Sopoaga performed the dance last Friday, and again after the win over Detroit. This time around, he made his teammates take of their jerseys since the dance is usually done shirtless.

The Saints injury list is half a page long, but good news for New Orleans, they should have back difference maker Scott Fujita. The starting linebacker has been out with a bruised knee but took a full practice on Friday and is listed as probable.
