Well, apparently there's no need for discussion. Mitchell & Ness has released its list of the top-selling throwback uniforms for all 50 states.
In the state of California, the best-selling uni, according to 2014 sales data, went to Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana and his red Niners jersey from 1989.
Montana led San Francisco to a 55-10 Super Bowl victory over the Denver Broncos that year.
