Eric Reid has worn No. 35 all offseason, but wasn't sure if it would be his uniform number as a rookie safety for the San Francisco 49ers.

Reid, however, has decided to pick the number permanently as of Tuesday.

Following the 49ers team photo and first practice of the week, Reid said he's settled on No. 35 for good.

"My dad can now order his jersey," Reid, the No. 18 overall pick said in front of his locker.

San Francisco's starting free safety wasn't the only one in a new uniform on Tuesday. According to the team's weekly media release, several 49ers have changed uniform numbers in time for Sunday's Week 1 home game against the Green Bay Packers.

Veteran cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha will wear No. 28.

Newly signed wide receiver Chris Harper will wear No. 13.

Reserve linebacker Nate Stupar will wear No. 56.

Veteran cornerback Eric Wright, a member of the team's Reserve/Non-Football Injury list, will wear No. 30.

Rookie defensive tackle Lawrence Okoye, who was recently placed on Injured Reserve, has changed to No. 98.

On the 49ers practice squad, Chuck Jacobs will wear No. 17, cornerback Darryl Morris will wear No. 40, tight end Derek Carrier will wear No. 46 and rookie tackle Carter Bykowski will wear No. 69.
