Colin Kaepernick competed with Cam Newton in the NFC Divisional Playoffs and it appears like the two young signal-callers will be going back and forth for years to come.

Kaepernick recently took the upper hand with his team winning in Carolina and advancing to the NFC title game.

The two competitors renewed their friendly rivalry on Monday night. Kaepernick and Newton co-hosted the Cartoon Network's "Hall of Game" awards, an event that saw the 49ers quarterback win the "I Got Swag" category.

Kaepernick beat out Tom Brady, Russell Westbrook, and Cristiano Ronaldo to win the honor.

However, the night belonged to the two young quarterbacks who roomed together at the 2011 NFL Scouting Combine.
