Anquan Boldin continues to do work in the community.
The veteran wide receiver announced his 10th annual charity weekend event, including appearances from well-known members of the San Francisco 49ers.
Boldin will host his 10th annual "QFest" in April. The weekend of events will benefit Boldin's Q81 Foundation. Boldin's weekend includes a celebrity golf tournament and a celebrity basketball game with many of his NFL friends.
San Francisco will be represented with appearances by Colin Kaepernick, Michael Crabtree and Quinton Patton.
"It's exciting to enter 10 years for the Q81 Foundation and for Q-Festival Weekend," Boldin said in a press release. "QFest is more than just a fun time for me; it is also dear to my heart, because I always wanted to give back to my community that was kind to me when growing up. We are proud of the learning experiences and growth of this decade and look forward to more years to come."
Boldin's foundation has given back in the form of shopping sprees, food drives, and back to school programs in Baltimore, Palm Beach County, and San Francisco. The foundation has also provided more than six full-ride college Scholarships to the University of Phoenix.
