6 Game Notes from 49ers Loss in Week 3

The San Francisco 49ers dropped to 1-2 on the season after a Week 3 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Pierre Garçon found the end zone twice in the fourth quarter and reached the 100-yard mark for the second time of his career.

DL Glenn Dorsey brought down Seahawks QB Russell Wilson for an 11-yard loss for the lineman's first sack of 2016. It marked the seventh sack of his career and first since 9/26/13 at St. Louis Rams.

LB Nick Bellore recorded the first interception of his NFL career, intercepting Seahawks QB Trevone Boykin in the fourth quarter.

Hyde finished with 21 carries for 103 yards and two touchdowns, marking the second, 100-yard rushing game of his career and first of the season.

  • In the fourth quarter, Hyde registered two 8-yard TD runs for his 3rd and 4th rushing TDs of the season.
  • Hyde now has two games with two-or-more rushing TDs this season (2 rushing TDs vs. LA (9/12/16)) and 3 games in his career.
  • Hyde is the first runner to reach 100-or-more rushing yards in a single game at Seattle  since RB DeMarco Murray rushed for 115 yards on 10/12/14, as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.7

NaVorro Bowman recorded his seventh career forced fumble in the first half of Sunday's game. It was Bowman's first FF of 2016. LB Gerald Hodges recovered the fumble from Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham It was Hodges' first career fumble recovery.

Hyde registered a career-long 34-yard run in the fourth quarter.
