The San Francisco 49ers selected Ball State quarterback Nate Davis in the fifth-round (No. 171 overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft.
"It's just a great opportunity. I came out there to visit: it's a beautiful place," Davis said in his conference call with local media. "There's just some great coaches. It's a dream come true."
Davis was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, throwing for 3,591 yards and 26 touchdowns last season.
