49ers Select DT Quinton Dial

Trends are taking place at day three of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Friday saw the 49ers make three trades before each pick. Saturday, the 49ers have added a second player named Quinton.

With the No. 157 overall pick in the fifth round of the draft, San Francisco selected Alabama defensive tackle Quinton Dial.

"I think I'm a versatile defensive lineman that can play multiple positions," Dial said to the media.

The 6-foot-5, 318-pound defensive lineman played on two, BCS Championship-winning teams in college. As a senior, Dial recorded 21 tackles (five for loss) and 1.5 sacks while appearing in all 13 games.
