49ers Release LB Sean Porter

The San Francisco 49ers announced on Tuesday that they have released linebacker Sean Porter.

Porter (6-1, 242) originally signed with the team on August 9, 2017. In 2016, he spent time on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad, was promoted to the active roster and saw action in two games. He was released by Jacksonville on May 1, 2017.
