The wait is over for Bay Area hoops fans. The Warriors ended a 40-year drought Tuesday night, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers, 105-97, in Game 6 to claim their fourth NBA Championship and first since 1975. Stephen Curry ended his MVP season with 25 points, six rebounds and seven assists. Andre Iguodala took home MVP honors with a 25-point performance in the title-clinching game.
