The San Francisco 49ers announced Friday that nose tackle Ian Williams has been placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform List.
Williams suffered a season-ending injury in Week 2 of the 2013 season. He enters the '14 campaign competing with teammate Glenn Dorsey for playing time.
