SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Today, the San Francisco 49ers announced McGettigan's, the global award-winning pub and bar group, as their Official Viewing Destination in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The collaboration, which aims to engage American football and 49ers fans to grow, enjoy, and celebrate the game, cements McGettigan's as a proud partner and the 49ers home in the UAE.
On September 3rd, the 49ers and McGettigan's hosted their first fan event, an inaugural Fantasy Football Draft Party. The gathering brought together football fans of all levels, from fantasy football enthusiasts to beginners, and showcased McGettigan's as a premier destination for fan engagement events. All attendees were given tips on fantasy football rules, draft strategies, and draft analysis.
This season, McGettigan's will host a variety of free-to-attend 49ers watch parties and fan events throughout the UAE, including a special Week 8 watch party on Sunday, October 26th featuring special guests, activities, and more. McGettigan's JLT, Dubai will host the Week 8 watch party, and while this location will serve as the 49ers home base in the UAE, all McGettigan's locations in the UAE are Official Viewing Destinations of the 49ers.
McGettigan's will host 49ers watch parties for Week 2 vs. the New Orleans Saints (September 14th), Week 6 vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (October 12th), Week 8 vs. the Houston Texans (October 26th), Week 9 vs. the New York Giants (November 2nd), and Week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns (November 30th).

Just two months ago, the 49ers hosted the first-ever UAE flag football coaching clinic, teaching over 50 coaches and youth the basics of flag football. As the 2025-26 NFL season gets underway, the San Francisco 49ers are continuing to activate community impact and fan engagement events in the UAE since obtaining Global Marketing Rights in the region in March 2025.
