49ers Activate Dobbs; Tukuafu Waived/Injured

The San Francisco 49ers activated tight end/defensive tackle Demarcus Dobbs from the Reserve/Suspended List. In order to make room for Dobbs on the roster, fullback/defensive tackle Will Tukuafu has been waived/injured.

Tukuafu was originally signed by the 49ers on August 12, 2010 as an undrafted free agent. He spent the majority of the 2010 season on the team's practice squad before being promoted to the active roster on December 18, 2010. Over the next two seasons, Tukuafu played in 18 games and recorded 15 tackles and one fumble recovery. He also appeared on special teams and offense.
